The closest station and recommended for those coming from Namba or Sakai.

Exit the West Gate and walk south, keeping the train tracks on your left. Turn right at the first major crossing to head toward Sumiyoshi-kaido.
Highlights
The shortest walk and easiest route to follow. Perfect for first-time visitors.
From Abikocho Station (JR Hanwa Line)
Best option for those using JR Pass or coming from the Tennoji direction.
Walking Guide
Exit the station and walk north through the residential streets of Minamisumiyoshi. The route is very flat and easy to navigate through a grid of quiet neighborhood streets.

From Nagai Station (Osaka Metro Midosuji Line)
Nagai Station is a major hub with the most frequent train service in Osaka.
Walking Guide
Use Exit 3 (has elevator) and head west toward the Nagai-koen-dori street. Turn left (south) once you reach the intersection with the 13-go line, then right into the Minamisumiyoshi neighborhood.
Highlights
Exit 3 has elevator access. Midosuji Line is the most frequent train service in Osaka. Plenty of shops and restaurants are located right outside the station.
